T. Deutch
.T. Deutch, born 1993 in St. Augustine, Florida, is a time-based
artist working with photography, mirrors, and performance to
investigate memory. T. has been a photographer for 20 years
and primarily makes photographs with a 6x9 medium format
film camera. T. makes books to explore the themes present in
their photography, such as grief, uncertainty, beauty, and joy.
Their work has been exhibited at the Rhode Island School of
Design, Providence College, & included in Rhode Island
Design Week 2023. Their book, Queer in the Sunshine State
was acquired & exhibited by the Miami-Dade Public Library in
2020.
T. is a bodyworker, loves nature & gardening, plays & lives in
Gainesville, FL.
